Alcohol and Marijuana Policy

Use or possession of alcohol and/or marijuana, including medical marijuana, used or possessed illegally or under California Proposition 64, is strictly prohibited at Alive at 25 and/or Attitudinal Dynamics of Driving educational classes.

The state constitutional amendment authorizing individuals over the age of 21 to recreationally use marijuana (“Proposition 64”) does not change this prohibition or authorize a student to use marijuana. Federal law, including the Drug Free Schools Act, continues to prohibit marijuana. Thus, marijuana use, even if in compliance with Proposition 64, is strictly prohibited at Alive at 25 or Attitudinal Dynamics of Driving educational classes. If an instructor has reasonable suspicion that a student is under the influence of alcohol and/or marijuana they will not be allowed to attend the course and will forfeit their tuition.

Any student whose learning opportunity is diminished to the slightest degree or who causes any other student’s learning to be diminished to the slightest degree as a result of any legal or illegal alcohol and or drug or substance having been introduced into the body, will be asked to leave the class and forfeit their tuition.
