Please bring a photo ID (if available). Be sure to arrive early, as late arrivals are not allowed to attend.
In an effort to adhere to social distancing guidelines, government requirements and suggestions, all students must agree to the following:
- Each student will be required to wear a mask while attending this class.
- Students are expected to bring their own writing utensil to class.
- Students must answer COVID-19 health screening questions, to include having their temperature taken via touchless thermometer. If students answer "Yes" to any questions that increase their likelihood of spreading COVID-19 to others, or if students have a temperature of 100.4° F or greater, they will not be permitted to attend that day's class. In the instance a student is turned away related to COVID-19 concerns, the Colorado State Patrol Family Foundation will work to get the student rescheduled for another upcoming class as soon as it is safe for the student to attend.
Avon Police Department 60 Buck Creek Road, Avon. If you’re traveling East of Avon- follow I-70 West. Exit the 167 mile marker. Take Nottingham Road to Buck Creek Road (First Right Hand Turn, Vail Health). Turn right as if you’re turning into Vail Health. Stay left for the Avon Police Department. Park in front of the Police Department (North East corner of the building). Walk up the stairs and through the double doors. Classroom will be in the Training room on the right. Food and drinks are permitted. If you’re traveling West of Avon- follow I-70 East. Exit the 167 mile marker. Take Avon Road North (Go under the overpass to Nottingham Road). Take Nottingham Road to Buck Creek Road (First Right Hand Turn, Past Vail Health). Turn right as if you’re turning into Vail Health. Stay left for the Avon Police Department. Park in front of the Police Department (North East corner of the building). Walk up the stairs and through the double doors. Classroom will be in the Training room on the right. Food and drinks are permitted.
Please note that use or possession of marijuana is strictly prohibited at the class.

Proof of completion:
Students will receive a certificate of completion from the instructor
immediately following the successful completion of the course.
